Unconditional love

Some time ago, a friend of mine punished his 4 year old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the small child tried to decorate a box to put under the tree. Nevertheless the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said ” This is for you Daddy.”

He was embarrassed by his earlier over reaction… He opened the box and his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.

Then he yelled at her:
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

DON’T YOU KNOW when you give someone a present there’s supposed to be something inside of it???

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said,

Oh Daddy it’s not empty, I blew kisses into the box , all for you Daddy.

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged her for forgiveness. My friend told me that he kept that gold box near his bed for years.

Whenever he was discouraged he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense each of us has been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses.

There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

School admission

Awesomee ......A story in one of the schools in Chennai where admission is considered impossible!!!

To get UKG admission

The child could not understand why they brought her there..

When we all were standing, the school principal started to converse with the child....yes...in English only! This is one of the most memorable interview I have ever witnessed in my life..
Here goes..

"What's your name?"

"Sarithra"

"Good. Tell me something you know"

"I know many things. Tell me what you want...!"

Alas, there is no better point for not getting the admission!

Sarithra's mother was trying to make up the situation but the principal stopped her..

Turning to child, she said.. "Tell any rhyme or story which you know.."

Again,"Which one you want.. Rhyme or Story!?"

"Ok. Plz tell me a story.."

"Do uou want to hear what I studied or what I wrote..!?"

Taken to surprise, she asked "Oh! you write stories...???"

"Why should I not write..?"

Now even I was taken aback But she was impressed with the answer. She ( including us) would have not heard such a story in our life...

Ok, tell me story which you have written-?
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

Sarithra said "Ravanan kidnapped Sita & took her to Srilanka"

The opening scene failed to impress but still she encouraged the child to continue..

"Rama asked Hanumans help to rescue Sita. Hanuman too agreed to help Rama ..."

"Then?"

"Now, Hanuman called his friend Spider man." No one expected this twist in the story!!

"Why?"

"Because there are lot of mountains between India and Srilanka.. but if we have Spiderman we can go easily with his rope..."

"But Hanuman can fly isn't it.. ?"

"Yes. But he is having Sanjeevi Mountain on one hand so he cannot fly very fast.!"

All is quiet, after a while Sarithra asked "Should I continue or not?.".

"Ok plz continue!"

"Hanuman and Spiderman flew to Srilanka and rescued Sita. Sita said Thanks to both!"

"Why"

"When you are helped you should say Thanks!"

So Sita requested Hanuman to call Hulk..."

All were surprised. She realized our curiosity and said " Now Sita is there, so to take her safely back to Rama she called Hulk"

"What??? "Hanuman can carry Sita right?"

"Yes. But he has Sanjeevi Mountain in one hand and has to hold spider man on the other"

No one could control thier smiles. " So when they all started to India they met my friend Akshay! "

"How come Akshay there now?"

"Because its my story and I can bring any one there!"

The principal didn't get angry but waited for the next twist

Then all started to India and landed at Chennai Velechery bus stop!

Now I asked,"Why they have landed In Velechery bus stop?

"Because they forgot the way..& Hulk got an idea and called Dora!"

I came to know about Dora only there...!

"Dora came and she took Sita to Velechery Venus Colony...that's all!"

She finished the story with a smile.. 😀

The principal asks "Why venus Colony...?"

"Because sita lives there & i am Sita!!!"

The principal was impressed and embraced the child. She has been admitted in UKG & was gifted with a Dora doll...
😊☺👍👍👏👏☺😊

Kids can really amaze... but we clip their wings (creativity) expecting them to do things as we see it right & not from their viewpoint.

Let's give every child freedom to do their own thing & watch their dreams come true...

👆 it is One of the good posts I've seen

WENT TO A PARTY, MOM

I went to a party,
And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom
So I had a sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would,
That I didn’t drink and drive,
Though some friends said I should.

I made a healthy choice,
And your advice to me was right,
The party finally ended,
And the kids drove out of sight.

I got into my car,
Sure to get home in one piece,
I never knew what was coming, Mom
Something I expected least.

Now I’m lying on the pavement,
And I hear the policeman say,
The kid that caused this wreck was drunk,
Mom, his voice seems far away.

My own blood’s all around me,
As I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say,
This girl is going to die.

I’m sure the guy had no idea,
While he was flying high,
! Because he chose to drink and drive,
Now I would have to die.

So why do people do it, Mom
Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now the pain is cutting me,
Like a hundred stabbing knives.

Tell sister not to be afraid, Mom
Tell daddy to be brave,
And when I go to heaven,
Put “Daddy’s Girl” on my grave.
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

Someone should have taught him,
That it’s wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had,
I’d still be alive.

My breath is getting shorter, Mom
I’m getting really scared.
These are my final moments,
And I’m so unprepared.

I wish that you could hold me Mom,
As I lie here and die.
I wish that I could say, “I love you, Mom!”
So I love you and good-bye.

Thích Nhất Hạnh Quotes - Teachings - Thoughts - Sayings - Philosophy

To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself

People have a hard time letting go of their suffering.Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar.

Because you are alive, everything is possible.

Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything - anger, anxiety, or possessions - we cannot be free.

Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.

The seed of suffering in you may be strong, but don't wait until you have no more suffering before allowing yourself to be happy.
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

Many people think excitement is happiness.... But when you are excited you are not peaceful. True happiness is based on peace.

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear.If we believe that tomorrow will be better,we can bear a hardship today.

If you love someone but rarely make yourself available to him or her, that is not true love.

Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.

Life is available only in the present moment

We are here to awaken from our illusion of separateness.

If you love someone, the greatest gift you can give them is your presence

Compassion is a verb

Keeping your body healthy is an expression of gratitude to the whole cosmos — the trees, the clouds, everything

Death

~DEATH~

WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT!!!!!

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said, “Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side.”

Very quietly, the doctor said, “I don’t know.”

“You don’t know? You do not know what is on the other side?”

The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

Turning to the patient, the doctor said, “Did you notice my dog? He’s never been in this room before. He didn’t know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing…
I know my Master is there and that is enough.”

May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

Tangram

The tangram puzzle consisting of seven flat shapes, called tans, which are put together to form shapes.

The objective of the puzzle is to form a specific shape using all seven pieces, which may not overlap.

It is reputed to have been invented in China.

Pieces
Choosing a unit of measurement so that the seven pieces can be assembled to form a square of side one unit and having area one square unit, the seven pieces are:

    2 large right triangles
    1 medium right triangle
    2 small right triangles
    1 square
    1 parallelogram

 Tangram A to Z

If by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream — and not make dreams your master;
If you can think — and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings — nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And — which is more — you’ll be a Man, my son!

Lao Tzu Quotes - Teachings - Thoughts - Sayings - Philosophy

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Knowing others is intelligence;knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power. If you realize that you have enough, you are truly rich.

A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.

Those who know do not speak. Those who speak do not know.

When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everyone will respect you.

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.

The truth is not always beautiful, nor beautiful words the truth.

Time is a created thing. To say 'I don't have time,' is like saying, 'I don't want to.

The best fighter is never angry.

Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.

Stop thinking, and end your problems.

Act without expectation.

Gautama Buddha Quotes - Teachings - Thoughts - Sayings - Philosophy

In the end these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go?

However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you if you do not act on upon them?

There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.

You only lose what you cling to

Peace comes from within.Do not seek it without

Three things can not hide for long: the Moon, the Sun and the Truth.

No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

Doubt everything.Find your own light

There is no path to happiness: happiness is the path

Your purpose in life is to find your purpose and give your whole heart and soul to it

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
---------------------------------

You will not be punished for your anger; you will be punished by your anger.

Pain is certain, suffering is optional

Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else.

Osho Quotes - Teachings - Thoughts - Sayings - Philosophy

Be — don't try to become

Be realistic: Plan for a miracle

Life begins where fear ends.

Truth is not something outside to be discovered, it is something inside to be realized.

Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence.

The less people know, the more stubbornly they know it.

Courage Is a Love Affair with the Unknown

Nobody has the power to take two steps together; you can take only one step at a time.

They say: Think twice before you jump.I say: Jump first and then think as much as you want!

The real question is not whether life exists after death. The real question is whether you are alive before death.

Always remember to judge everything by your inner feeling of bliss.

Whatever you feel, you become. It is your responsibility.

Your whole idea about yourself is borrowed– borrowed from those who have no idea of who they are themselves.

I live my life based on 2 principles. One, I live as if today was my last day on earth. Two, I live today as if I am going to live forever.

To avoid pain, they avoid pleasure. To avoid death, they avoid life

Geeta in Management

GEETA IN MANAGEMENT- DISCUSSION:
Conversation between Krishna & Today's Arjun

1. Arjun :- I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic.

Krishna:- Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.

2. Arjun :- Why has life become complicated now?

Krishna :- Stop analyzing life... It makes it complicated. Just live it.

3. Arjun :- Why are we then constantly unhappy?

Krishna :- Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.

4. Arjun :- Why do good people always suffer?

Krishna :- Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer.
With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.

---------------------------------

---------------------------------
5. Arjun :- You mean to say such experience is useful?

Krishna :- Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons later.

6. Arjun :- Because of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading…

Krishna:- If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.

7. Arjun :- Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?

Krishna:- Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.

8. Arjun :- In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

Krishna :- Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

9. Arjun :- What surprises you about people?

Krishna :- When they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me?"

10. Arjun :- How can I get the best out of life?

Krishna:- Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

11. Arjun :- One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

Krishna:- There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

Stay Happy Always.....!!!

Daffodils by William Wordsworth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company!
I gazed and gazed but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

A child's wish

A Primary School teacher asks her pupils to write an essay
"what wish do you want from God?" At the end of the day, the teacher
collects all the essays given by her pupils. She takes them to her
house, sits and marking them. while marking the essays, the teacher
sees a strange essay written by one of her pupils. That essay made  her very emotional. Her husband comes and sits beside her and saw her crying. The husband asked her wife "What happened?"
 .
She answered "Read this. It is one of my pupil's essay."
---------------------------------

"Oh God, Make me into a Television.
I want to live like the TV in my house.
 .
In my house, the TV is very valuable. All of my family members sit around it. They are very interested in it.
When the TV is talking, my parents listen to it happily and calmly.
They dont shout at the TV. They dont quarrel with the TV.
They dont slap at the TV. So I want to become a TV.
 .
The TV is the center of attraction in my house.
I want to receive the same special care that the TV receives from  my parents. Even when it is not working, the TV has a lot of value.
 .
When my dad and mom come home, immediately they sit  in front of the TV, switch on it and spend hours.
The TV is stealing the time of my dad and my mom.
If I become a TV, they will spend their time with me.
 .
While watching the TV, my parents laugh a lot and they smile  many times. But I want my parents should laugh and smile with me.
So please make me into a TV. .
 .
And last but not least, If I become a TV, surely I can make my parents happy and entertain them. Lord I don't ask you anything. I just want to  live like a TV. Please make me into a TV."
 .
The husband completed reading the essay.  He said "My God, poor kid. He feels loneliness. He did not receive
enough love and care from his parents. His parents are horrible".
 .
The eyes of the primary School teacher filled with tears.  She looked at her husband and said "Our son wrote this essay".

Love your job, but – Narayana Murthy

Extract of Mr. Narayana Murthy’s Speech during Mentor Session:

LOVE YOUR JOB, BUT NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR COMPANY BCOZ U NEVER KNOW WHEN COMPANY STOPS LOVING YOU – Narayana Murthy, Chairman – Infosys

I know people who work 12 hours a day, six days a week, or more. Some people do so because of a work emergency where the long hours are only temporary. Other people I know have put in these hours for years. I don’t know if they are working all these hours, but I do know they are in the office this long. Others put in long office hours because they are addicted to the workplace. Whatever the reason for putting in overtime, working long hours over the long term is harmful to the person and to the organization.

There are things managers can do to change this for everyone’s benefit. Being in the office long hours, over long periods of time, makes way for potential errors. My colleagues who are in the office long hours frequently make mistakes caused by fatigue. Correcting these mistakes requires their time as well as the time and energy of others. I have seen people work Tuesday through Friday to correct mistakes made after 5 PM on Monday.

Another problem is that people who are in the office long hours are not pleasant company. They often complain about other people (who aren’t working as hard); they are irritable, or cranky, or even angry. Other people avoid them. Such behavior poses problems, where work goes much better when people work together instead of avoiding one another. As Managers, there are things we can do to help people leave the office.

First and foremost is to set the example and go home ourselves. I work with a manager who chides people for working long hours. His words quickly lose their meaning when he sends these chiding group e-mails with a time-stamp of 2 AM, Sunday. Second is to encourage people to put some balance in their lives.

For instance, here is a guideline I find helpful:
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

1) Wake up, eat a good breakfast, and go to work.

2) Work hard and smart for eight or nine hours.

3) Go home.

4) Read the books/comics, watch a funny movie, dig in the dirt, play with your kids, etc.

5) Eat well and sleep well.

This is called recreating. Doing steps 1, 3, 4, and 5 enable step 2. Working regular hours and recreating daily are simple concepts. They are hard for some of us because that requires ‘personal change’. They are possible since we all have the power to choose to do them.

In considering the issue of overtime, I am reminded of my oldest son. When he was a toddler, if people were visiting the apartment, he would not fall asleep no matter how long the visit, and no matter what time of day it was. He would fight off sleep until the visitors left. It was as if he was afraid that he would miss something. Once our visitors’ left, he would go to sleep. By this time, however, he was over tired and would scream through half the night with nightmares. He, my wife, and I, all paid the price for his fear of missing out.

Perhaps some people put in such long hours because they don’t want to miss anything when they leave the office. The trouble with this is that events will never stop happening. That is life !! Things happen 24 hours a day.
Allowing for little rest is not ultimately practical. So, take a nap.

Things will happen while you’re asleep, but you will have the energy to catch up when you wake.
Hence “LOVE YOUR JOB BUT NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR COMPANY”.

Failures - APJ Abdul Kalam

Let me tell you about my experience. In 1973 I became the project director of India’s satellite launch vehicle program, commonly called the SLV-3. Our goal was to put India’s “Rohini” satellite into orbit by 1980. I was given funds and human resources — but was told clearly that by 1980 we had to launch the satellite into space. Thousands of people worked together in scientific and technical teams towards that goal.

By 1979 — I think the month was August — we thought we were ready. As the project director, I went to the control center for the launch. At four minutes before the satellite launch, the computer began to go through the checklist of items that needed to be checked. One minute later, the computer program put the launch on hold; the display showed that some control components were not in order. My experts — I had four or five of them with me — told me not to worry; they had done their calculations and there was enough reserve fuel. So I bypassed the computer, switched to manual mode, and launched the rocket. In the first stage, everything worked fine. In the second stage, a problem developed. Instead of the satellite going into orbit, the whole rocket system plunged into the Bay of Bengal. It was a big failure.
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

That day, the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, Prof. Satish Dhawan, had called a press conference. The launch was at 7:00 am, and the press conference — where journalists from around the world were present — was at 7:45 am at ISRO’s satellite launch range in Sriharikota [in Andhra Pradesh in southern India]. Prof. Dhawan, the leader of the organization, conducted the press conference himself. He took responsibility for the failure — he said that the team had worked very hard, but that it needed more technological support. He assured the media that in another year, the team would definitely succeed. Now, I was the project director, and it was my failure, but instead, he took responsibility for the failure as chairman of the organization.

The next year, in July 1980, we tried again to launch the satellite — and this time we succeeded. The whole nation was jubilant. Again, there was a press conference. Prof. Dhawan called me aside and told me, “You conduct the press conference today.”

I learned a very important lesson that day. When failure occurred, the leader of the organization owned that failure. When success came, he gave it to his team. The best management lesson I have learned did not come to me from reading a book; it came from that experience.

The Vision

I climbed and climbed
Where is the peak, my Lord?
I ploughed and ploughed,
Where is the knowledge treasure, my Lord?
I sailed and sailed,
Where is the island of peace, my Lord?
Almighty, bless my nation
With vision and sweat resulting into happiness

The Net Asset Value is the price of a unit of a fund. When a fund comes out with an NFO, it is priced Rs 10. Later, depending on the value of the investments, this price could rise or fall.

Load

This is a fee that is charged when you buy or sell the units of a fund.

When you buy the units of a fund, you pay a percentage of it as a fee. This is known as the entry load.

---------------------------------

---------------------------------

Portfolio

This is the term given to all the investments made by the fund as well as the amount held in cash.

Corpus

Let’s assume a mutual fund has an initial investment of 1,00 units and each unit is worth Rs 10. Hence, the total amount with the fund is Rs 10,00. This is referred to as the corpus. Later, some other investors invest Rs 2,00. Now the corpus will be Rs 12,00 (Rs 10,00 + Rs 2,00).

The total amount invested (Rs 12,00) is called the corpus or the total amount of money invested in the fund.

AUM

Assets Under Management is the total value of all the investments currently being managed by the fund.

This is a mutual fund that invests in stocks of various companies in various sectors.

ELSS

Equity Linked Saving Schemes are diversified equity mutual funds with a tax benefit under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act.

To avail of the tax benefit, your money must be locked up for at least three years.

Balanced fund

A fund that invests in both equity (shares) and debt (fixed return investments) is known as a balanced fund.

Debt fund

These are funds that invest in fixed return investments like bonds. A liquid fund is one that invests in money market instruments, these are fixed return investments of a very short tenure.

NFO

A New Fund Offering is the term given to a new mutual fund scheme.

SIP

A Systematic Investment Plan refers to periodic investing in a mutual fund. Every month or every three months, the investor will have to commit to putting in a fixed amount. This will go towards the purchase of units.

Narendra Modi's foreign visits

1. BJP Govt. convinced Saudi Arabia not to charge “On-Time Delivery 1Premium charges" on Crude Oil – Young Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan & External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj sealed the deal. Saved the country thousands of crores...

2. India will build 4 Hydroelectric power stations + Dams in Bhutan (India will get lion's share in Green energy that will be produced in future from these projects) . .

3. India will build Biggest ever dam of Nepal (China was trying hard to get that) – India will get 83% Green energy produce from that hydro power station for free – in future. . .
4. Increased relationship with Japan and they agreed to invest $30 Billion in DMIC (Delhi –Mumbai Investment Corridor)..

5. Increased strategic relationship with Vietnam and Vietnam has now agreed to give contract of Oil exploration to ONGC-Videsh (UPA was not ready to take this at all because they were worried about China – and getting into a conflict of interests on south China sea)
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

6. Increase Oil Imports from Iran, despite the ban by USA. Iran agreed to sell in Indian Rupees and it saved our Forex, not just for now, but protected India from future currency fluctuations. India also gets to build “Chabahar” port of Iran, encircling Pakistan. Because we well have exclusive access for our Naval ships in this port.

7. Australia- despite Australia being a major supplier of Coal & Uranium. . NaMo was able to convince Tony Abbott and now Australia will supply Uranium for our energy production.

8. China leaning President Rajapakse lost elections in Sri Lanka – Remember UPA lost “Hambantota” port development – read latest report of CIA, where they mention RAW has played a major role in power shift of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has backed out of Chinese contract and shifted to Indian project managers.

9. With China, as Trade Deficit was increasing, NaMo forced their hand. Anti-Dumping will come soon so China will invest heavily into India. – China has already committed $ 20 billion Investment in India. That's nearly ₹140,000 crores.

10. On Security – I think adding Ajit Doval to his team is the best decision by NaMo. See the recent tie-up with Pentagon, Israel & Japan. . Now see how we stopped the Terror Boat and listen to his words … “Any Mumbai like attack from Pakistan and Pakistan will lose Baluchistan!" That's the language of deterrence that I want to hear as an Indian. We won't hit first, but if you do, we surely won't turn the other cheek....

11. India approved the border road in the NorthEast and around India- China border – Remember just because of China’s opposition, the ADB (Asian Development Bank) didn’t give us funds during UPA regime and UPA held that file under “Environment Ministry control – Remember the infamous “JAYANTHI TAX "? No one bothered about the disastrous effect on our armed forces.

12. India managed to bring back 4,500+ Indians from War zone in Yemen and also brought foreign nationals of 41 different countries, which put India’s name onto the highest platform globally in conducting that rescue mission – PM Narendra Modi specially talked to the new Saudi Arabian king Salman and told him to allow Indian Airforce planes to fly – as Saudi Arabia was attacking on Yemen and Yemen skies was declared NO-FLY Zone: thanks to this we got an assured clear window of a few hours and guys guess who coordinated this? Ajit Doval, Sushama Swaraj and Gen V K Singh. All in person.... When was the last time you ever heard of ministers involved personally in such efforts that didn't fetch thousands of crores?? Guess the religion of those rescued?? But it isn't secular.

13. India’s Air defense was getting weaker by the day, UPA was very happy to let it happen despite repeated specific inputs from the armed forces, NaMo renegotiated Rafale fighter Jets deal with France personally and bought 36 J

Managing Anger by Gurdjieff

When Gurdjieff's father died Gurdjieff was only nine years old. The father was poor. He called Gurdjieff close to him and told him, "I have nothing to give you as your inheritance. I am poor, and my father was also poor, but he gave me one thing that made me the richest man in the world, although the outside poverty remained. I can only transfer the same to you.

"It is some advice. Perhaps you are too young and you may not be able to do it right now, but remember it. When you are able to act according to the advice, act according to it. The advice is simple. I will repeat it, and because I am dying, listen carefully and repeat in front of me what I have said so I can die satisfied that I have transferred the message that may have come down from father to son for centuries."
---------------------------------

---------------------------------

The message was simple. The father said, "If somebody insults you, irritates you, annoys you, just tell him, ? I have received your message, but I have promised my father that I will answer only after twenty-four hours. I know you are angry, I have understood it. I will come after twenty-four hours and answer you.' And the same with anything. Give a gap of twenty-four hours."

The nine-year-old boy repeated what the father said, and the father died, but because it was such a moment the message became engraved. As he repeated the message, the father said, "Good. My blessings will be with you, and now I can die peacefully." He closed his eyes and died. And Gurdjieff, even though he was nine, started practicing what was given to him. Somebody would insult him, and he would say, "I will come after twenty-four hours to answer you because that's what I have promised my dying father. Right now I cannot answer you."

Somebody might beat him, and he would say, "You can beat me right now, but I cannot answer. After twenty-four hours I will come and answer you, because I have promised my dying father." And later on he used to say to his disciples, "That simple message transformed me totally. The person was beating me but I was not going to react at that moment so there was no question except to watch.
There was nothing I had to do: now the person was beating me, I just had to be a spectator. For twenty-four hours there was nothing to do.

"And watching the man created a new kind of crystallization in me. After twenty-four hours I could see more clearly. At the moment when he was beating me it was impossible to see clearly. My eyes were full of anger. If I was going to answer at that moment I would have wrestled with the man, I would have hit the man, and everything would have been an unconscious reaction.

"But after twenty-four hours I could think about it more calmly, more quietly. Either he was right - I had done something wrong and I needed, deserved, to be beaten, to be insulted - or he was absolutely wrong. If he was right, there was nothing to say to him except to go and give him thanks.
If he was absolutely wrong... then there was no point at all in fighting with a man who is utterly stupid and goes on doing such wrong things. It is meaningless, it is wasting time. He does not deserve any answer."

So after twenty-four hours everything settled down and a clarity was there. And with that clarity and the watchfulness of the moment, Gurdjieff changed into one of the most unique beings of this age.
And this was the basic foundation of the whole crystallization of his being..

dimension line is automatically spaced from the last one when using
the "continue" or "baseline" sub-commands, or when dimension text
will not fit within the space between extension lines (the next
dimension in a string will get offset from that one by the value of
this variable) -- default is 0.38, but should be set to 0, unless you
intend to use the "baseline" sub-command (which is rare in
architectural drawings)
DIMEXE
Dimension extension line extension beyone the dimension line --
default is 0.18, but should be set to 0.09
DIMEXO
Dimension extension line offset: this is the distance from the origin
point of the dimension to the end of the extension line -- default
is 0.0625 which is OK
DIMGAP
Dimension space between dimension line and text when dimension
line is broken to accommodate the dimension text -- default is 0.09
which is OK, since this is never used in architectural drawings --
dimension lines should never be broken for dimension text in
 architectural drawings
DIMLFAC
Dimension scale factor -- default is 1
This would only change if you were inserting a drawing which is
dimensioned at a different scale than 1:1 -- You would set this to
the reciprocal of the scale conversion factor as described in the
chapter on "Scale" in this text. For instance, say you want to insert
a detail to be scaled at 1"=1'-0" into a drawing which will be plotted
in model space at 1/4" = 1'-0". The detail drawing would be inserted
at a conversion scale factor of 4, so that it appears 4 times the size
of the main drawing to be plotted at 1/4"=1'-0". The detail would
then be dimensioned, first setting DIMLFAC to 1/4 (that is the
reciprocal of the conversion factor. Note that none of this
complicated process is necessary if you always plot your drawings
in paper space at 1=1 scale, zooming the various viewports to their
respective scales.
DIMLIM
Controls the way tolerances are displayed when using tolerances for
a dimension
0=off (default) tolerances are displayed as plus-minus number
1=on tolerances are displayed in high value and low value one above
the other
Tolerances and therefore this variable is rarely used for architectural
drawings
DIMPOST
Dimension text prefix, suffix, or both -- default is none
If you wanted to have the words "Above Finished Floor" appended
to the dimension, while still allowing the dimension as measured by
the program to be used and remain associative, you could set the
value of this variable to
<>Above Finished Floor
The two angle brackets together represent the placement of the
associative dimension
DIMRND
Dimension rounding value -- default is 0.0, should be set to 0.625,
which is 1/16" for architectural drawings
DIMSAH
Allows use of separate arrow blocks for each end of the dimension
line
0=off (default) -- when set to off, you are not allowed to use two
different blocks for the dimensioning arrows
1=on -- when set to on, you may use two different blocks for each
end of the dimension line, stored as DIMBLK1 and DIMBLK2
DIMSCALE
Dimension overall feature scale factor -- default is 1.0 but if you
want to plot your drawing in model space, you should set this
variable to the plot scale factor (e.g. 1/4"=1'-0" plot scale, the plot
scale factor is 48), but if you intend to plot in paper space only,
set this variable to 0. It is recommended that you always plot in
paper space, and that this variable should be set to 0.

Suppresses outside dimension lines -- default is 0, should be set to 1
0=off -- (default) if dimension arrows do not fit between extension lines,
the dimension line and arrows will be drawn to the outside of each
extension line, -- this is not normally desirable in architectural drawings
1=on -- forces arrows to be drawn toward the inside of extension
lines, regardless of whether they will fit, this is a better appearance
for most architectural drawings
DIMSTYLE
Dimension style -- default is *UNNAMED (Read Only) -- you can
create as many styles as you want by setting variables as you wish,
and using the DIM<RET> SAVE<RET>[name] command sequence,
with [name] being the name you assign to the dimension style. To
use a style that has already been saved, you need to restore it by
 using the DIM<RET>RESTORE<RET>[name] command sequence
DIMTAD
Dimension text above dimension line -- default is 0, should be set
to 1
0=off -- dimension text will be places on the dimension line by
breaking the dimension line -- this format is normally used for
engineering type drawings, but is not used for architectural drawings
1=on -- dimensions always placed above the dimension line --
this is the one to use for architectural drawings
DIMTFAC
Sets height of tolerance text with relation to main dimension text
height -- default is 1.0 Recommended value is 0.75 -- no need to
be concerned about this variable, since tolerances are rarely used in
architectural drawings.

should be 0
0=off -- dimension text always parallel with dimension line
1=on -- dimension text always horizontal regardless of dimension line
orientation

default is 0, should be 1
0=off -- text will be placed to the right or left side of dimension if it
does not fit between extension lines
1=on -- text will always be placed between extension lines regardless
of whether it will fit -- this is more desirable for architectural drawings.
If it becomes a problem with long dimensions overlapping dimensions,
they can always be moved with the DIM<RET>TEDIT<RET>
 command sequence
DIMTM
Dimension minus tolerance value -- default is 0.0 -- no need to change
DIMTP
Dimension plus tolerance value -- default is 0.0 -- no need to change
DIMTOFL
Sets dimension line to be drawn inside of extension lines, whether or
not text is drawn outside of extension lines -- default is 0, should
be set to 1
0=off -- will not draw inside dimension line if text is outside of
extension lines
1=on -- will force dimension line to always be drawn between
extension lines
DIMTOH
Sets orientation of dimension text outside extension lines --
default is 1, should be 0
0=off -- dimension text always parallel with dimension line
1=on -- dimension text always horizontal regardless of
dimension line orientation
DIMTOL
Sets tolerance dimensioning -- default is 0, which is OK
0=off -- tolerance dimensioning is not used
